Position Summary

Warehouse Associate tasks will include the daily operations of the warehouse. Field Service Technician tasks will include quality control and repairs for stone installations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Warehouse

• Receives, organizes and maintains warehouse inventory.
• Loads and unloads trucks with materials as needed.
• Coordinates the movement of products throughout the warehouse.
• Implements daily delivery or shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in the warehouse.
• Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
• Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
• Manually handles, repacks, or re-stacks pallets of finished product as needed.
• Operates forklift trucks as needed to transport materials to identified areas.
• Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
• Performs cleaning duties to maintain a clear, safe warehouse.

Field

• Conduct quality inspections for stone installations.
• Make site visits as requested to ensure needs are handled with timeliness and professionalism.
• Perform warranty service on completed installations, as directed.
• Pick up and deliver materials to the site if needed.
• Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively.
• Provide detailed notes and photos of issues to show completed work and to ensure a positive experience and outcome.
• Positively represent the company by addressing customers and contractors respectfully and professionally, ensuring appearance is neat and clean and the vehicle is clean and tidy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license for forklift truck required.
• Forklift Certification is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
• Prior experience in the home construction or remodeling environment is preferred.
• Ability and willingness for continuous learning.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a schedule and meet deadlines.
• Proven experience completing tasks with a high level of quality.
• Strong communication skills with all stakeholders including supervisors, managers, customers, vendors, and contractors.

Physical Requirements

Will require a long period of standing, walking, and moving inside and outside the warehouse.

Will be required to work inside and outside and be subjected to a variety of weather.

Will deliver materials to job sites; must be able to walk and maneuver around the sites.

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times.

The job will generally work 7:30 am - 4:00 pm but may vary depending on business needs.
